のワの
Las Gracias de La Guerra de Magos:
- [+] spoiler
"When you're floating up there in the sky.
You star to realize falling down isn't the scariest thing. I'm not afraid of heights anymore...
This is my drawing for the 17th prompt of Inktober, "Graceful".
I didn't want to use characters I already used, but my last drawing of Neith DEFINITELY didn't do justice to the character.
So here it is. Neith gracefully floating in the sky, most likely fighting for her dear life.
I don't know why but I really love Neith's design. That cape was an absolute joy to draw.
In her backstory I'm always saying she was "born to be a mage", but just for how well she looks in her mage uniform, I think she really is!
Here's some fun stuff I probably mentioned before:
Mages must be in pairs to be fully capable of using magic. Neith is a "pugilist mage", that means, she prefers close magic combat with her fists. That is very non-conventional to say the least.
Her brother on the other hand is something along the lines of an "artillery mage", that's why he can't be seen on this drawing, he must be really far far away where nobody can see him.
Neith and Richard's demons, beings that allow humans to manipulate magic, are Salamanders, fire elementals strongly associated with deep regrets.
And last but not least, since the opponent mages brought the fight up to the skies, Neith is out of her depth, this must be the first time she has fought while flying, so she has a severe disadvantage in this kind of situation. Richard, on the other hand, is actually thankful that the opponents decided to fly. Anti-air is his specialty, he just has to make sure Neith doesn't die.
And that's it!
I'm loving how this drawing turned out, so I'm going to use it as my desktop wallpaper haha. The background has some serious issues but it wasn't the focus of the drawing so whatever~
Have a nice day, hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
